Un hombre sabio se plantó en medio de un auditorio e hizo una broma muy buena para los asistentes. Todos se rieron. Acto seguido volvió a explicar la misma broma. Esta vez, menos gente se rió de la broma. Explicó la misma broma unas cuantas veces más hasta que todos los del público empezaron a mirarle con odio y nadie se reía. Entonces sonrió y les dijo:

No podéis reíros de la misma broma una y otra vez, ¿verdad? Entonces, ¿por qué lloráis por lo mismo una y otra vez?
